Sari Maki

Palm Beach Best Care Founder

Sari Maki is the agency owner; she has a Master's degree in Health Science and is a Registered Medical Assistant. She has worked in the medical field for over 25 years. Over the years of working and caring for patients, Sari was inspired to open a home health care agency to deliver a superior level of care to patients in the comforts of their homes and allow the patients to have the quality of life to continue to do the things that they love.

Natanya Cohen

RN, Director of Nursing

Natanya Cohen has been a registered nurse since 2010. She has been in the cardiac special care unit at North Broward, orthopedics at JFK Hospital, and now home health care, with preventative care being her specialty. Natanya enjoys nature, bike riding, and camping on her days off, as well as learning about alternative medicine plants and herbs to help with healing.

Dr. Dorson Dort

PT, DPT, MPH, COM

Dr. Dorson Dort PT, DPT, MPH, COMT is a clinician here in Palm Beach County with vast experience in treating post-surgical conditions that include total joint procedures, sports related lower and upper extremity injuries, acute care conditions as well as a variety non-surgical orthopedic and sport related pathologies. He applies screening and injury prevention practices to clinical care to ensure optimal patient health.

Dorson received his Undergraduate Degree and Masters at the University Of South Florida and completed his Doctorate level of education in Physical Therapy, from The University of St. Augustine, in 2019. Since graduating, he furthered his education and skills and received his certification in manual therapy in Orthopedic and sports manual therapy (COMT) through the Ola Grimsby Institute and formally trained in joint mobilization and manipulation techniques.

Dorson is experienced in treating emergency/traumatic orthopedic conditions in both inpatient and outpatient care settings as well as performance programming for high level collegiate athletes. As a previous clinician with Hospital For Special Surgery (HSS),

He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association in the Orthopedic section as well as a member of the Florida Physical Therapy Association.

In his free time, Dorson enjoys living an active lifestyle with his wife and daughter as well as traveling to other parts of the world.
